TAP’s Utsav: A Celebration of the Spirit of Childhood
Utsav, once again, fills the hearts of everyone with joy and excitement as students display their SDG based innovative projects
The Apprentice Project’s Utsav 2023 successfully culminated on the 15th and 16th of April with our last stop in Mumbai and Pune. An opportunity for our students to showcase their learning and talents, along with fun-filled activities, Utsav was truly a celebration of the spirit of childhood.
The events in both cities saw over 400+ attendees including students, teachers, parents, and volunteers, all eager to learn. In Mumbai, the occasion was graced by Mr. Neeraj Jain, Independent Director & Board Member of Tata Pension Management Limited, and Mr. Anurag Pratap, Vice President & CSR Leader of Capgemini. They interacted with the students and spoke about the importance of holistic education and skills like critical thinking and collaboration.
In Pune too, the showcase started with motivating speeches by the guests of honor including Mr. Sandeep Rai, CEO & Founder of The Circle India, Dr. Sujata Deshpande, Head of CSR - Thermax Foundation, Mr. Arun Kadekodi, Founder & CEO of Soft Corner, and CSR team and leaders from Capgemini. Their inspiring words helped students understand the importance of critical life skills and encouraged them to work harder and smarter at achieving their goals.
With over 500 student projects showcased, based on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) students explored topics of waste management, climate change, financial literacy, and spreading awareness about global issues. A competition was held among winners from different schools wherein many students won prizes for their unique creations.
As a highlight of the event, some of the projects showcased in Pune besides the competition also caught the attention of everyone present for their innovation and creativity. These projects were too awarded prizes as a token of appreciation of the hard work and imagination of the student creators
We, at The Apprentice Project, along with our students, thank you all for being a part of this beautiful journey of Utsav and helping us make it a success. We hope to bring more Utsavs in the coming years and look forward to creating such priceless memories with all of you!
